A Point of View: Mourning the loss of the written word
A Point of View: Mourning the loss of the written word
These days I usually only write letters at Christmas, and even I now sometimes send my email. But I do try and take care with emails and say what I would have said in a written letter. I do send postcards when on holiday, even to people I also contact by email.
My handwriting has never been what you could call neat, and is getting worse. I can read it, but others can't.
Something else I have noticed - when I am writing in a notepad (lowercase, the paper version) I sometimes find myself feeling for the "save" button.
